I'm Starting this thread on how
to set-up SE UIQ3 MODELS
internet setting.
FOR SMART USERS(NO IP &
PORT):
Go To "MAIN MENU >
SETTINGS > CONNECTIVITY >
INTERNET ACCOUNTS". Under
"ACCOUNTS" tab press
"MORE > NEW ACCOUNT >
DATA". Type "SMART
INTERNET" under "ACCOUNT
NAME" then type "internet"
under "ADDRESS" then save.
You will be prompted to add
to a group just select "YES".
Under "GROUPS" tab, edit the
"INTERNET" and highlight the
"SMART INTERNET" and press
the "PRIORITY" and set it to
"1." Now you're done setting
up your phone's internet
settings for Smart User.
FOR SMART USERS(REQUIRING
IP & PORT):
Go To "MAIN MENU >
SETTINGS > CONNECTIVITY >
INTERNET ACCOUNTS". Under
"ACCOUNTS" tab press
"MORE > NEW ACCOUNT >
DATA". Type "SMART
INTERNET" under "ACCOUNT
NAME" then type "internet"
under "ADDRESS" press
"MORE" select "PROXY" mark
the box of "USE PROXY
SERVER" fill in "10.102.61.46"
under "PROXY SERVER
ADDRESS" and "8080" under
"PROXY SERVER PORT" then
save. You will be prompted to
add to a group just select
"YES". Under "GROUPS" tab
edit the "INTERNET" and
highlight the "SMART
INTERNET" and press the
"PRIORITY" and set it to "1."
Now you're done setting up
your phone's internet settings
for Smart User.
FOR GLOBE USERS(NO IP &
PORT):
Go To "MAIN MENU >
SETTINGS > CONNECTIVITY >
INTERNET ACCOUNTS". Under
"ACCOUNTS" tab press
"MORE > NEW ACCOUNT >
DATA". Type "GLOBE INET"
under "ACCOUNT NAME" then
type "www.globe.com.ph"
under "ADDRESS" then save.
You will be prompted to add
to a group just select "YES".
Under "GROUPS" tab, edit the
"INTERNET" and highlight the
"GLOBE INET" and press the
"PRIORITY" and set it to "1."
Now you're done setting up
